I remember in 2014, I was convinced the world was heading toward an era where the truth would be impossible to hide for long, what with everybody and their mother having a small computer with audio-visual recording capabilities.
2024 now, and I could easily say that if I went into a coma in 2014 and woke up 10 years later without an atrophied brain and witnessed the situation we are in now, I would beg for a lobotomy.
Factor in deepfakes and generative AI, and it becomes clear that the days of incriminating (and worse yet, EXONERATING) evidence will become a thing of the past sooner than later.
I long for that feeling I had when I was still so idealistic, but my role models are all dead, sold out, or I grew to realize it with time that they weren't what I'd expected. It's better this way.
As easy as it is to just say "I'm not bringing offspring into this world, so to spare them from this man-made nightmare world.", the true solution is producing at least a half-dozen warriors who will grow to navigate the rapidly evolving hellscape and conquer God's enemies. 😎💪🏻
